The coyotes here in this area have came so over populated its unreal since the dog hunters have near quit. Over the years I have seen 3 different Black yotes and they have been within a mile and half from the house, but I never have been hunting them at the time. I do call for them and always have the typical silvers come out , but this was the first chance at a Black and I took it...

In central Alberta the only black coyotes I've shot have been crossed with dogs. That is a nice & rare colour coyote! Well done only a couple million more to go

According to some ,I've read a lot of actual wolf blood in the eastern brush wolf these days not sure if there's any crossbreeding in the West Country?............Harold
