Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience I had with Frontier. Purchased a supposedly unissued m48 mauser. It arrived with a cracked handguard, gouged rings and heavy blueing wear. Needless to say I was really dissappointed. Cleaned it up the best I could but I'll never be happy. Beware of frontier.

Maybe it was damaged by Canada Post?

Why would you clean it up if you could send it back?

Or did you do the damage dis-assembling it???? :confused:

I hear Frontier is pretty good.

yes negative feedback isnt somthing to be taken lightly use sparingly.all the dealers ive delt with always come good if there is a problem.you shouldve contacted them before posting.poor form
 
Gotta say Frontier has always been a favorite of mine. Call and tell him your misfortunes and I bet they will take care of you pronto.
 
well after reading all this....my dealings with Frontier have always rated a plus.....so I just ordered one .Thx for bringing it to my attention....Unissued Yugo Mauser...No brainer....its worth the money just in parts
 
As everyone else has already mentioned, contact Frontier first. Since you cleaned it up, I'm not sure what that does to the deal but they will more than likely do something to help you out.
 
Nothing but good coming from them for me too.... post some pics of your junk rifle.

I'm sure if you talk to them they will swap it out.

Was it a M48BO . if so Marstar was the importer and they are unissued . That doesn't mean they are brand new !. I got one from Marstar a wile ago and it had a cracked hand guard . Sent it back & they sent me another one with out the crack :D
