Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club will be holding a New Shooter Orientation March the 6th from 9am - 4pm.

What you'll need:
An IDPA membership.
150 rounds.
A holster, suitable for concealed carry.
3 magazines or two speed loaders.
One double or two single mag pouches/speed loaders.
5 dollars to cover the cost of targets and patches.

Yep just made the drive back and must say that I hade a great time and met a bunch of great guys!
Great weather to shoot outdoors helped alot!

I stopped by for a couple hours and everyone looked to be having a great time. Next time I'll try to stay longer...can someone add a few extra hours to the day!
 
March 6 IDPA Holster course

Thank you to those who attended the idpa holster course march 6. This was my first time being on the instructing side of the table and as an SO to teach a course so I appreciated the feedback from you all as I continue to learn the IDPA world as well. Just like every time at the range I learned something and hopefully passed along some information that was beneficial. 6gm6 thanks for including me...I would certainly do it again and again. Great to make a reaquaintance with 7.62 Nato. I trust we will be considering you all as part of our team now. Remember to tell a friend and get someone else involved...we welcome all to join us as we grow this chapter of IDPA. Thanks Steve D for doing our original SO course and helping to keep our momentum rolling...we want to see you shooting with us again.

This is great, good on you guys, I am glad it turned out so well and I am certain you will be doing a lot of shooting this year and I sure hope I can get out there to shoot with you guys.
 
The group just keeps getting bigger. I hope to see you out at some of our practice shoots, next one is this Thursday at 7pm. As well as at the matches, dates coming soon.
