Patching

Excellent match - as usual.

Thanks Bernie.

Getting people to patch can be a PITA, but when I RO, JohnC too, we call for patchers.

The only people that shouldn't be patching are the guy's that's just shot and the next shooter PERIOD!

Mostly it's not too bad but you do have to jump on people at times.

Remember, without YOUR help, the matches won't continue.

yes. patching usually falls behind as match goes on....i was helping score while on squad shooting at on stage...and i kept yelling "PATCHERS" as I noticed there wasnt much help...and RO was patching after scoring....so that's no good ! ...mind you, we all did patch, but at times we are not paying attention as we're talking shop, etc...(inc. myself).... which is fine, but we have to remember to help.......

was a good match....i think i did o.k. after a 3 month absense....like riding a bike .. ..

I just looked at the results...

It was an 80 point stage, and you had a valid time entered...so that means the total of your penalties ( minus 10 points) and misses (minus 15 points) was greater than the points you actually scored. So you get a zero

Also keep in mind that in Production...3 D's is almost equal to a miss.

I imagine I bombed - I usually do:redface:

I zeroed on one of the stages last time - not a DQ, and no one could explain why. I had scores on my paper when I signed the sheet at the match, but the results showed zero.

Thanks Quigley

That would make sense, but I'm pretty sure I had no misses (though I probably had a few d's). Definetly no penalties.

Anyways, not really a big deal - I'm new, so I don't always understand everything anyway.

As far as this last match, I've already forgotten quite a bit about the stages, but I am still curious as to how I did.

i'm surprised that someone from that club hasn't at least made a comment on this..... maybe stats guy or gal has gone ill and we wish them well or other event has occured to prevent them from being posted....hope nothing unfortunate.....but frontenac ipsc rep. or other, should at least make a statement to good folk that came out to shoot the match....and some at least a 2 hour drive and more...... by now, we all forget which stage was which when thinking back, etc..... Was a fun match too.

Comments from Club Rep

In fact, I commented earlier in this thread and the situation remains unchanged, which is why I have not commented further. The calculation of the stats has been started but is still incomplete due to the statistician, a volunteer, being busy with his work. Results were very timely for our first two matches but unfortunately the situation is different for the 13 Sep match and for that you have my apologies. I also shot the match and am waiting for the results.
