hello,
has anybody tried this Frontier Bullets distributed by Marstar, Im looking at their 9mm,40sw and 45acp. I was using Excell before for economic reason, I must be the first to say that the quality is not consistent, but like I said,financial aspect is considered. unfortuanately, Ive been trying to get hold of Marty for the last 3 weeks, and all I can get is the voicemail, any comments is welcome. I not sure if he still in buss. thanks
 
thanks guys, good to hear some feedbacks, Im also thinking of the ones distributed by Canadian BDX, not the Montana Gold, although they are good quality but the price is too high, I just cant remember the brand or make, but its on their site. again thanks
 
I shot 4000 frontier bullets last summer for IPSC and Practice it is good enough for both. It is definitely not the best bullet, my groups at 25 yards shrank from 5 inches to 3 inches when I started to cast my own from wheelweights. But good enough and quite a bit cheaper than anything else out there.

Though I like the Frontier product, my Glock 17 hates the 124 gr. FP. A guaranteed jam/FTE about every 3 rounds. Works fine with 125 gr. LRN, though I know you're not supposed to use lead in Glocks...
 
shipping I was buying my bullets from Higginson's Frontiers with the shipping and taxes they were coming out to about 100 for 1000. I am in New Brunswick nova scotia should be no more.

You may want to get a hold of Freedom Ventures, they sell Frontier.

Try the 147gr CMJ's, that's all I use now.

Not as good as I stated they shoot into 5 inches at 25 yards and cast are three inch groupings. However with cast bullets there is a bit more work involved in keeping the barrel clean.

About 5K of the Frontier 124gr. FP through my G17 without one hicup.

I like Frontier bullets because of their price and overall quality. I use them in 124gr. FP (9mm), 180gr. FP (.40S&W) and 200gr. FP and 230gr. FMJ (.45GAP).

Frontier 124gr. Win case WSP 6.5gr. HS-6 1.163"COL=1140fps in my G17
Frontier 124gr. Win case WSP 4.1gr. TG 1.040"COL=1080fps in my G17

Will shoot these at all different powder weights, COL's etc through my Glock. Do you give them a slight taper crimp? I could shoot these Frontier FP until the cows come home!

Okay, thanks...But how hard are the Frontier bullets compared to a hard cast?:)
