frontier bullets,

Okay, thanks...But how hard are the Frontier bullets compared to a hard cast?:)

I don't have one of the machines to test rockwell hardness. However I have noticed that the Frontier bullet's appears to be Plated with copper rather than Jacketed. The plating is completely removed on any bullets which I have recovered.

They are indeed plated, rather than jacketed. If they were jacketed, i woudl assume they were pretty hard, but I dont' knwo much about plaitng, and wonder if the lead has to be softer to plate or not?

Ive used frontier 124fp in my glock with good results,I find that they outshoot Montana gold.Ive found that my tanfoglio doesnt feed them very well though, but the 115rn shoots fine.

I havent had much luck at all with frontier bullets in my open 38 super shooting major(rounds wouldnt consistently stay on an IPSC target at 15m!),but I have read that some find plated bullets work just fine for them.

They are worth a try as they are a bit cheaper than jacketed, and with the way the price of components is rising, every saving helps!
