I would strongly recommend that you hold off on getting a restricted before going to school...

Storage and ATT issues will be a signifficant hassel for a transient college student....

I geuss if you really cant wait to have it...

Too answer your question, My 2 transactions with frontier have been superb, great product, good price and stellar fast shipping on 2 occassions.

Because my family and I are moving to Ontario.
I cannot wait.
Otherwise there won't be any place to ship to besides my college.
Plus I have completed my RPal training just wait until 18 I will get my RPAL.
(If my mum is willing to be my reference):<
Is there a store in Vancouver or Ontario that sells that gun besides frontier firearms?

Look at the top of the screen here for a list of reputable dealers. I've heard nothing but great things from Frontier.

What are you looking for? Have particular model in mind?

Marlin at Frontier is a good guy, you can buy in confidence, the whole school campus/gun thing I don't know about.

Frontier firearms is probably a reputable firearms dealer, but I would wait until you settle into your new home in Ontario before ordering a restricted firearm. The GTA isn't a very firearm friendly area and I would wait until you're 18 and settled in your new home before buying it to avoid any potential hassles. It's possible that it might be sold out by that time, but there are plenty of guns out there. Also, guns at university is not a good idea.

If you are in a school residence you should find out if there are any firearms regulations set by the school.

If you are not on school residence then you could order a restricted but i can tell you moving and having to do address changes on everything, and a cabinet or safe to store it in can be a hassle.

The up side is you have a nice pistol to shoot at the range, just dont go bragging about having a pistol, dont tell anyone, dont talk about it at school. Some people will go off the wall over a comment they barely heard

Marlin is good. I had a really strange experience but he handled it without trouble.

I saw one if his posts here about a rifle he had. We made arrangements and I sent off the money to him. When he was checking out the rifle while packaging it he noticed a defect with it and refused to send it to me. I might not have noticed (or recognized it as a problem with a new firearm) and it could have been a personal safety issue.

He tried to get replacement parts but was unable, so he refunded my money without hesitation. I am trying to find a way to spend some money there, to support him for the excellent experience in looking after a customer - and losing the sale.

Thanks again, Marlin.

If I were to read between the lines, it sounds like you need an M-14S.;)

I bought a mosin nagant from them. Prompt shipping, etc. They suck at communication though. At least in my case, they sucked. I had a question regarding what the nagant came with, and they sent me some bumbling response that could have been in another language, but they delivered and the condition of the firearm was as described.

I am looking for Russian Model 1895 Negant Revolver
Plus the problem is once I am in Ontario I am only to live in the dorm 100% for sure.
Should I rent a secret mail box?
If so where can I rent a secret mail box in Ontario

Wow, my experience was just the opposite. They answered every question I asked and even after I got the item Marlin still took the time to answer my questions. I would deal with them anytime.

The restricted firearm will be registered to the owner, and can only be stored at this address. So unless you live in a PO box, it's a no go.

From a bit of reading it seems my experience is the exception to the rule.
