Howdy folks, just got the scope I ordered in today. I have to say, even though it was shipped from across the country, it showed up quickly! Great prices, great products, great shipping, what isnt to like?

My only criticism is that when their new website does finally start up, it should allow you to pay with CC on it. Having to place an order and then phone in your CC info is confusing for first timers (as it wasnt really explained what to do), and in this day and age, I feel its a little archaic.

That said, I will not hesitate to do any business with these guys again!

Thanks Frontier!

I have bought a couple firearms from them and have been never had an issue. awesome place, and while i can understand your frustration with having to call information in. I have had issues with my new chip cards with online purchases, so calling it in lets me know that everything went through and has been approved, so i don't mind it.

I bought a couple of guns from him, and the service is GREAT. He's one of the first places I look when buying something. Now that they harmonized the GST, he must charge it, so it took away a bit of his cost advantage, but he is very competitive.

Ordered a scope from them last friday shipped same day :) Got an email from them saying delivery date would be the 14th. Arrived this morning :D 5 days early Great service

Fully agree!

Great service and great products. Couldn't ask for more. Ordered a m305 and a scope today!! Amazing prices and shipping. Had a little disagreement with someone from there on another forum about the website but it was just crossed wires. I would 100% recommend these guys.

Bravo Frontier!

Matt

Their return/exchange policy sucks and they don't price match. I won't deal with them again.

Lets make sure we get everything straight here. You order a scope and decide that you no longer want it. You phone back and ask to exchange it for a scope that we do not have and our supplier also does not have. Then you want us to price match on an item we do not have and can not get. Our refusal to do this makes you unhappy.

I guess what we should can do to make you happy, is do an exchange on the scope and promise to get you something that we cannot get at a super low price. It would actually be easier for us to sell stuff we do not have and price it cheaper then anyone because it does not exist. A couple of dealers tried that aproach of selling items they did not have cheap, perhaps you should contact them to do buisness.

Finally you ask about trading a used scope. No ware do we advertise that we take second hand scopes, why are you offended that we do not offer a service that we do not advertise?

You gave me a price on the scope that was $80 more expensive than most other places, some of which also did not have it in stock but can get it, and since you gave me a price on it, you obviously CAN get the scope. Is asking if you will match a competetors price unreasonable? It's kind of silly to advertise a brand if you can't get their products.

Furthermore, lots of other businesses I have dealt with would be more than happy to make the exchange AND don't charge rediculous restocking/return fees. If I just wanted my money back I can understand a restocking fee or a reluctance to approve the return but I was attemting to continue my relationship with your business.

Nowhere in my previous post did I mention anything about you not taking my used scope on trade. Your website is in complete disarray so that is why I -->ASKED<-- if you dealt in used items.... believe it or not, some companies do this.

Anyway, I'm not mad, I will take a small hit and unload the scope in the EE, no problem, but I won't feel inclined to deal with your company in the future considering the return policy, prices and customer service. You clearly stand by these practices, which is your right, but don't be surprised if people don't like them and speak up.

Matching a price that is under MAP pricing is a good way of getting a sale and an even better way of loosing a supplier. When our supplier is sold out of one product and will not be getting in any more for atleast 6 weeks, it does not require us to stop advertising the company name and brand when we still have many of their other products.

The $25.00 charge to exchange a scope is to cover our time to unpack the old, repack the new, adjust the charge, void and recipt and issue a new one. You should also concider that when someone returns or exchanges a scope that we already out $12-$13 for the initial shipping charge that we pay, insure and assign a signature option. As you can see our we make nothing off of our "rediculous" restocking fee. There is a big difference between walking into a store and exchanging over the counter and exchanging by mail.

The reference to you wanting to trading used optics comes from your phone call to us. This was the same phone call that within 5 mins of it ending you had already run to the computer and posted on this fourm.

If you belive that customer service is when a buisness looses time and money because of a customers indesicion, risks their relationship with wholesalers, and allows people to publically bash them on their paid fourm unchallenged, then we do not offer your form of "customer service".

You paid to have a scope shipped to you recived it as advertised. That was the service you paid for and the service you recieved. You did not purchase the rights to change our policys and tell us how we should run our buisness.

all joy with Frontier Rifle order.

I purchased a rifle from Frontier Firearms online last week. Had a nice short chat with the chap over the telephone while he checked availability. The talk did wander for a few minutes into hunting issues.. but for me that's a given. The rifle arrived in four days.

Professional, pleasant and very prompt. I am very pleased with Frontier. Their pricing is fair especially when you factor in their very low shipping rate and the barriers Canadian retailers have to jump in order to conduct business.

Frontier will be one of my "check first" sites and I look forward to dealing with them again.

If curious, the rifle is a Ruger Scout Rifle.

Just recieved my Yugo M48 BO 8mm Mauser.
Was delivered super fast and rifle was better than I expected.
Not the first time I have dealt with Frontier, won't be the last
Thank-you Frontier Firearm.

I just bought a valentines day present to myself. Got some ammo tossed in the gun box for free. I should probably buy more guns there. Awesome that it's the closest real gun store for me.

The new website is still very slow to load...hopefully this will improve...I have to say that I like format of the old site better.
cheers
