frontier stamped 30 30 brass?

Hornady bought out the Pacific/Frontier line of reloading equipment and brass manufacturing. You have a few cases made before the head stamp was changed to Hornady.

Right now I'm looking at a 1967 Pacific reloading manual and the Hornady change over happened in the early to mid 1970s.

I even have some old Frontier 30-30 and .270 cases laying around.

FWIW, I purchased factory Hornady 303br rounds for hunting many moons ago the brass was stamped Frontier. Using that ammunition I made the longest shot to date on a white tail. Still my record, even these days.

Below the Hornady history, with the start of Frontier ammunition in 1964 and the merger in 1983 of Hornady Bullets, Frontier Ammunition and Pacific Reloading Tools into one corporation.

I dug around in my storage containers and found old boxes of Frontier 30-30 and .270 Win with fired cases like pictured below.

New style box, purchased couple of years ago (don't know how often it occurs, I don't buy much loaded ammo)
