Frosty Farky - Kamloops - Sept 24TH & 25TH ***FULL***

Winds at 27mph today (and all last night) with gusts into the 35-40mph range.

If this sticks around until the weekend it should make for some interesting shooting.

50K gusts expected overnight.

Wind was 11mph/17Kmh at 6:30 this morning.

Weather outlook says 28C tomorrow so maybe the winds will die down......then again.....maybe they won't. :D

Thanks Rich for putting on another super fun well run event. Keeping the scores current, the match flowing and getting dinner set up made for a great weekend.

To all that helped with both the shooters and the targets.. A BIG THANK YOU TOO.

We had it all - high heat, twitchy bumpy air with solid mirage on Saturday. Cleans scores with super high V counts or a whole bunch of 'just outs'.

Then the gale came on Sunday and yes, I should have converted those sighter 4's :)

As is tradition, the winds were high enough to rip off the targets.

AND for something new, the winds almost picked up one of the scorers still working on the target.

Always a super fun and social event. Competition was very tight with most decisions a pt or a few V's apart. Places changed huge from relay to relay and the final winners were usually surprised when called.

This certainly is one of the best events in BC and a must shoot if you have interest in F class and want to shoot against many of the best F'ers in this province.

See you all next season...

Jerry

X2 what Jerry says - a great event. Nice to see familiar faces again and meet new ones. Thanks to all who helped organise - I hope to be back for running of V Bulls if it is a go, otherwise see you next year !
