Sorry to jack the 1911 love fest going on here but was wondering , i know this was suppose to be a 2 gun match on A3 , im just wondering have we got permission / certification to use .30 caliber ie .308 on that range yet ?

Yes. So far it's keeping up with my Glocks in reliability.

Looks nice. It was probably one of the guns that got some of my Mojo on it the last time I was in the Arsmcor factory.

Crap!!! Next shoot is in fact the 19th. Hmmm gonna have to wait and see how I can juggle that one into the weekend. The RMC concert in scarlets is that day and the Pipe band will most likely be rehearsing all morning. Hmmmmm

I'm no gentleman. Can't play very well either. Took highland pipe lessons for a season. It was a lot of fun but a drag driving to Kingston every week in the evening. My wife took drum lessons at the same time.

Is there anyway we can do the double gun match maybe on the back of the 100 yard rifle range , that would allow the guys who wish to use bigger caliber firearms , over poodle shooters ..

A couple of our regulars won't be there on the 19th so it will be pistol only.

Then next, next one, will be the 2 gun. I can ask about using a1 over a3, or maybe a2 would be the better fit for you heavy metal shooters?

That be cool , as ive really only bench shot my m14s . i really want to see how it would work as is , in a close . moderate range scenario off the bench .
