FRT number for short barrels?

Are you even obligated to register such a change? I though this was only required if changing frame only to firearm or changing classification... guess you learn something every day

While changing the barrel length while staying non-restricted is not on the list for reporting it to the registrar, the certificate would still have inncorrect info on it. If I want to take it out hunting of plinking on crown land I don't want to leave the door open for a over reactive CO or peace officer. Better to have my ass covered.
The new reg cert came today and the "non-restricted" and "less than 470mm" are both listed correctly.
