FRT number on a Smith M60 5"?

I have re-looked at the article, and it's dated the 5th Feb, 05. The discs were issued at the begining of 05.

RePete.

In that case, and if some have been imported into Canada, it would probably be on the version of FRT that the CFC has, but not out to verifiers yet. If you call the 1-800 #, they should be able to look it up on thier system. They have for me in the past...

Got to harass them some more, so far nothing.

This gun is Model that is new enough that it is not yet listed on the current FRT data base that verifiers have. The current Mod 60's in .357 that are listed all have prohib. barrel lengths. I think your best bet is to talk with the Firearm Technicians at 1-800-731-4000 ext. 1094 or 1095. Give them a full discription of the firearm as described by S&W, including the length of the barrel in mm. If you have a S&W spec. sheet you may be able to fax. it to them also. Even digital pictures of the gun sent to them, will help. The more info the better. I would not be surprised if they have it already listed in their database. Hopfully the next version of the FRT disc sent out will have this gun listed. Good Luck.
