Frustrated.

Does it say NONTOX on the data stamp?

I was doing regular S&B brass with no problem. Only the S&B marked NONTOX were the problem.

I've dealt with that exact stuff a few times. Was a heck of a lot of it at the range a couple times but 9mm is common enough that it didn't seem worth the effort of drilling them all out.

Insidious stuff as there are a few other brands that have the red paint on them that work fine.

Kevin M it ain't your equipment. On my dillon 550 I can deprime crimped 223 with only a bit more effort than non-crimped. But that filthy stinking slutty putrid new-fangled 9mm S&B "NONTOX" range p-up is so 'reloading' unfriendly, be it the initial de-priming or subsequent primings, that it's best to toss it from the get go. There's something purposely screwed with the "NONTOX" stamped stuff.

Regular S&B of various eras and ages, while not stellar, and sometimes a bit difficult, is certainly useable. "THE POX ON NONTOX"!!

I had a similar problem with Igmann 6.5x55's. They say "Boxer-Primed" and "Fully Reloadable" on the box, but I've lost more depriming pins to these cases than everything else combined! (even get a few berdans in the boxes sometimes.)

I regard these cases as disposable, which is a shame considering how much 6.5x55 costs...
