Frustrating wait!

I did my non-restricted/restricted course and tests on the first weekend of April, (got 99% overall :p), and I'm still waiting to get it back, so I can send in my application ... what's frustrating is, the longer I wait, it seems the worse the firearms prospects are becoming in Canada! :(
 
I walked out of the course with all of the paperwork and completed forms, sent it off the next day. You should not have to wait for the test paperwork to come, they should have given it to you there and then.
 
It took me 11.5 weeks from the time the exam results were submitted until I got my first restricted in my meaty little mitts.

So going from no PAL to being able to put a pistol in my safe was exactly 80 days. (Feb 2, 2009 to April 22, 2009)

Yep, took about the same for me to get mine. The Canadian government just isn't in a hurry to hand out firearm licences.
 
It has been 3 weeks since i completed my PAL course and i still dont have it back, that is not restricted so you could be waiting a while
 
Mine took about 6 weeks....just check the website and plug in your info and at least you'll know if it's in the "processing" stage. I had a buddy that waited 3 months so you better hope there's nothing sketchy in your past that will cause them to "investigate" which would probably hold it up even longer. Hope you get it soon.

He is in Ontario, the CFO has to bless everyones test results before they send them into the CFC. I got my pal/rpal in the mail on tuesday. Went and bought 2 boxes of .303 just because I had to buy something while waiting for my enfield.
 
That's only for Ontario?!

Now I'm even more frustrated ... ergh, I love Ontario, but not the wieners who run things!

I would have done the exact same thing.
 
I started waaaaay back in OCT.
Dec the RPAL came in.
Joined a club in Feb/march
Bought restricted on APR 08...APR 24 Temp ATT came in.
