FS 2000 review anyone?

Has anyone shot the new FS2000 and can provide a review? They are appearing at relatively reasonable prices at some dealers but have yet to see any comments in this forum.

Am considering a ourchase but would like to know more.

I'm very fond of mine. Only a few hundred rounds through it , but it has been dead reliable so far. This is a surprisingly accurate rifle, getting 1 1/2 groups at 100 yds with 55gr Federal american eagle. This is just rested on my elbows on the bench. Shooting at a turkey silhouette at 450 yds I could keep over 50% on target. This is with an Eotech, so no magnification. All in all I am very impressed so far. You will like it! Phil

I've got a non-res version on the way. As soon as I can, I'll take it into the bush and wring it out and see what's what. Photos, vids, targets, the whole works.

Questar. I emailed Mark a couple of months ago to see if I could talk him into bringing in a non-res FS2000. I'll let him tell you the particulars on how and when.

Barrel length. The stock FS2000 is 17.4" and is restricted because of that. The non-res FS2000s are re-barreled with 18.7" barrels.

I shot it in Vegas in 2008, only about 20 rds. It was a nice fit, but the little inspection port kept grabing my facial hair with every shot. I like the forward eject as it kept the exhaust gases away from you. Not sure how easy it would be to clean or clear a jam.
