FS2000 flat top or optic model?

then if they're same price might as well get space gun optic where you get a rail and a free scope. but im afriad i couldnt spend that much on a budget oriented plastic wonder when the swiss guns are that much. same with tavor. totally unrealistic pricing.

Mark what kind of barrel (brand? CHF?) is going to be on the non res version?

They won't be CHF that I can tell you. Likely will end up with Chrome Moly but we are also looking at Stainless (which would give even better accuracy). Everything is a trade-off. Chrome-Moly will give improved accuracy and Stainless even better accurcay but won't last as long as Chrome-Moly (though I doubt too many users will shoot enough rounds through them to wear out the barrels... besides if you're spending that much on ammo the cost of a new barrel really isn't a big deal :)

Nothing a LaRue cannot solve.

Actually, the ARMS #19 S mounts the ACOGs further back than the Larue.
The rail on the 'tactical' model is slightly higher than the other, allowing for less interference with the rear rail mounting block, which in turn allows the optic to be mounted further back. As it stands in the photo below, the nose is snugged up to the action cover with proper eye relief. With this set up on a model with the stock optics removed, you'd be over top of the action cover.

FYI, the timeline we're working with would see these in Canada ready to sell by early January. Of course, things can always cause delays. More details when I can.

Sign me up for one. :D Not sure if I want stainless or chrome moly though.

I've been reading about this gun for a while now. And is it working on me. :D

Might have to sell a few of mine to get it though. Or maybe I should get a job.

Non-restricted "tactical" version in OD green. Mmm...money...

Kodiak what are the prices going to be like hopefully around 3k

Selling a rifle for 4K for one that costs retail in the states for less than 2K is high way robbery!

The FS2000 costs more than 2K in America. Even our cost is more than that.

The exact price hasn't been determined yet; as soon as it is possible to calculate, I will advertise it.

However, like every other gun we sell, we will have the lowest price in Canada.

There are lots of places in America that sell them for $2100+. Bud's guns wants $2124, and they probably buy and sell them by the truckload.

The retail price in America doesn't really affect my total landed cost. I have my cost to purchase them now. Then all the import/export fees, exchange, transport, etc. After all the costs, the markup will be reasonable.

Actually you can buy it for 2k or less, thats at the retail level, the wholesale price lower still, factor in exchange, import, duties, markup etc.

I guess you sell it for what you want too!

Sry im not trying to be ignorant to the fact that business's have markups for no reason, i myself own my own business.

If these rifles are able to be exported now, they dont demand a premium like they did when they were unobtainable!

I am not implying you are doing this but some others are.

Sry to hjack your thread,
