fsn gremlin?

i have this wierd problem with my fsn that i dont even know how to describe so im going to try my best after the first shot the trigger doesnt work it sticks back and i have to manually move it back into position but then it still doesnt work so i took it apart and it still does it even without the bolt or bolt carrier even in the reciever any suggestions?
 
Sounds like one of your trigger or sear springs is A not working or B missing.

The Gremlin is when the bolt cycles closed it doesn't leave the striker behind. You have to fix this problem before you know if you have the actual gremlin.
 
all my springs are working and there as far as i can tell if i had a parts list this could be a little easier as i dont know what anything in the reciever is called haha
 
alright found one so the striker catch moves about 1/16 of an inch to the left or right of the trigger unit spring and thats when things dont work

edit: this is going off of the cz 858 tactical spare parts manual on there website

no idea what you said above .

but it sounds like your trigger is sticking ? correct ?

so if you only have the trigger in place with axis pin in (everything else removed) , do your trigger easily move forward and back ?
 
it was supposed to mean that i dont know if the parts are the same or theres more or less parts so thats what i was going off of since i dont know what any of the parts are called and i have pictures coming up in about 20 minutes to show you

i think the problem is at the top where the sear sits

ok, so trigger moves freely when by itself , with axis pin in and the locking plate is in the lock position .

now , using a standard screw driver and depress the main leaf spring and slide the selector in place .

now , the trigger moves freely but under tension , try safe and fire positions.
 
everything works the way its supposed to, till the sear moves then trigger sticks (you can see in the second picture how it doesnt sit right on the main spring) i think the trigger is sticking once it slips off the sear becuase its offset and doesnt sit on it flush. if that makes any sense haha

if someone could take a picture of there trigger like my last picture that would be awesome

since you bought it new then i would send it back but its good to know whats wrong with it first before you send it back so you'll have an idea whats needed to remedy it.

it looks to me the sear is too far to the right and binding the arm , its simply fix for the dealer to replace a few parts .
 
so what if i took a file and shaved the tinyist amount off the seer where it sits flush against the receiver?


EDIT: every trigger squeeze i can watch my sear move the right and eventually slip off
 
Since this is a brand-new gun, I'd return it without touching any parts with a file as to avoid a problem when your fix doesn't fix it.

Plan B would be to buy the parts kit and replace all the internals.
 
i have a parts kits , you can buy one from wolverine.

its nice to have spares handy and also to swap out parts to find which one is faulty .

no plan B , i suggest you send the rifle back without filing the parts .
