Why do so many think an AR needs a front sight? Let me guess, in case your optic goes down? Because we all play with our civilian AR's on the 2 way gun range and there is just no time to swap it out if you did happen to drop your rifle and break something. Just buy a quality sight and you don't need to worry about optics failing. If it does? So what. Go buy another one and your back shooting the next day. Even better is to just pick up your other AR and continue shooting.

Was really cool seeing the vid showing the gas venting and how fast the cyclic rate is by how close the empty cartridges are to each other in the air.

Thanks OP.

This one is actually sporting a 5** EOTech, which are known to be extremely unreliable optics. Put a Micro on there and it's a different story.

Umm.... I used an issued 552 on my issued C8 in Afghanistan, Have one on my issued C8 at my home unit too, and I have a 512 on my Norc M4. None has failed me.

Maybe, but that means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things since hundreds of thousands have been made and issued. Facts are facts.
