Ya I’m Still kicking my self back in 97..98..when the lic stuff came out....went to police station....waited like 4 hours in line ...when I got to the lady filling out the paperwork...she asked me what lic do you want ..prohibitive..restricted or non.....I paused for like a min to think about it ....she said hurry up cause there’s a huge line up outside...I said non restricted........stupid me I should of said all three please .....hmmmmm

When the FAC was replaced by the PAL system you never had the opportunity to choose prohibited status .
You were grandfathered prohib status if you owned a firearm that was made prohibited by OIC .

Saddened to hear. Actually, this is was my first thought - you are not putting items like this for sale until very end. And it is the end.

I have a friend like that... doesn't want to think about it until he is long gone, that way he could enjoy his collection til the very last second! The reality is that it really wouldn't matter to him what happens after he is gone.

I think all of the FA Collector's are very quiet. Probably shouldn't be.

The youngest a FA owner can be in this country is 60. The reality is they are on the way out no matter what happens. If they bring light to the fact you can still own full autos in country it would likely hasten their demise instead of prolonging it.
