How much would it cost? Looking for a more experienced user to help me clean my Beretta 92FS Inox as I've been having repeated/consistent failure to fire. Likely because of build up.

You can find interesting things on the interwebs....
Gun oil of choice and some degreaser and carbon cleaner in those ozone depleting spray cans.
Lots of elbow grease too and leave the wobbly pops for the end of the night when the task is complete.

Problem is I'm not good with this stuff and I lack the tools like the pin punchers and what not. I did look at the videos to get a sense of how difficult it'd be. I'd likely lose a spring or something.

Sooo, this is a good time to go and purchase a couple of tools.
Pin punches and a small drift hammer can be bought at Home Depot and a block can be bought at ???
Well, I do not own a block with holes in it, but am sure Amazon will have one made of plastic or metal or make one from a piece of wood.
I am not an expert on this stuff either , but found you tube to be helpful in many ways...considering I like to fix things till they break I find that media venue very helpful in many ways.
Fingers crossed someone local will heed your call for some assistance, but in the mean time spend a couple of dollars on the basic tools and spend an hour going down the rabbit hole on you tube and find the guy who you think has the easiest method you can follow.
As for springs flinging through the air a small pillow case or a plastic bag with the gun placed inside will capture any parts that try and escape you.
These are just some random ideas of interest that you may need over time.

I'm sure there are guys on here, who are well versed on taking 92's apart and putting them back together and would likely be willing to help you - but first, they'd have to have a rough idea where you live. If you're near Whitby/Oshawa, I will help you with it.

I'm in the mid town Toronto area. I don't have a good "workshop" bench area for this, that's another reason why I'm hesitant to do it myself .

repeated failure to fire will boil down to 2 things in the 92 series. 1- mainspring needs replacement or 2- the firing pin and channel need cleaning. (the frequency recommended by an armourer is every 1200-1500rds). or a combination of both. the issue will be removing the slide components. if you chose to do it on your own, remember to re-stake the extractor pin once you reinstall it. If you were in NS I could help you out.
