Full length Die setup?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Video or write up on the proper way to setup a Redding Type S full length die. I understand you only want to bump the shoulder back a thou or 2 correct? Also whit using a lapua brass with a fairly stout load will the die adjusted to size the first fired brass be right for after they are fired the second time?
