full size 22lr/wmr rifle

The cheapest is probably a used rifle. the Cooey model 75 has a long barrel and weight like a .270. It probably would fit the bill. I have used a 1960 Mossberg 144lsb heavy barrel to practice for using my savage 12 bvss.

Mossbergs "back in the day" were nicely proportioned.....:D

Older Remingtons were also quite nice in size...

Very nice! I like old tube fed bolt repeaters. Older .22's seem to be larger then newer .22's, since technology is able to push the boundaries in a smaller package. I would say an old Cooey is cheap and fits your description. My 60 is larger then my Savage HMR or 10/22.

I have a cooey 75 and it is a great little gun. Had it drilled and a 3x9 put on and it looks and feels like a large rifle. I think I paid $25 for it a few years ago.

The Henry Acubolt has a full size stock. It's a single shot, but is light, points well and has excellent stock sights. I'm 6 feet tall and it fits me better than my savage or ruger which each needed thicker recoil pads.

CZs are another option if you want a similarly proportioned understudy to your centrefire. They aren't as cheap as a Marlin or Savage, but they are less expensive than other full-sized .22s such as a Ruger 77/22, Browning T-Bolt, or 64 action Anschuetz.
