Your dealer can order the particular model of M&P45 that you would prefer.
 
One of the shops in my area has what I consider to be the nearly perfect handgun - an M&P 45 with no safety lever, internal lock, or mag safety. Nothing artificial to get in the way of the pure joy of firing a 45 bullet downrange.
