Full stock struggles...no more

I recently picked up* a pkk "Brno K1 Stutz" full stock single shot in 243.

Fooking ###y. Sprays bullets all over the place when the barrel is hot. This might kill it for yotes; but it is certainly light.

Nice wood and full stock though. The first scoped group I shot out of it is the only target I've ever taken out of the range with me. 3 shots all touching each other; a perfect clover leaf. If only it was like this all the time.

* and then returned for the dreaded trip to the distributor for repair because of a problem with the extractor, for full disclosure.

Did it get fixed and returned in a reasonable time?

I have owned a few Zastava from 22-250 to 375....... They are decent, serviceable rifles with a solid action but rough around the edges and the wood is a rare lottery win.....

Ruger m77's are much better refined and a full sock is on my list, I just haven't found one chambered fo one of my cartridges yet....... In a rifle in my collection I wish to replace......

Well, in my search this eve I revisited the wolverine website. I had checked it earlier today and discounted the .223 full stock because I wasn't super excited about the cartridge.

With the 10% off I managed to talk myself into it. Realistically I already have a couple deer rifles...

Plus, too many times I've heard folks carry on about how great their CZ bolt guns are. I'm excited to see what the hype is about.

Thanks for all the input, if the zastava's ever go on sale I may have to grab one in a large caliber, well, because I can talk myself into just about anything.

Had a Ruger M77 Mk II .308 fullstock. Nice rifle (except for the trigger ). Needed to replace the trigger so had to spend a few hundred more dollars on this new rifle purchase. Zastava rifles are equipped with a pretty decent adjustable trigger and have true CRF.

I just happen to have an Interarms in 243 with DST, an Anschutz in 222 with DST and a Steyr-Mannlicher in 222 Remington Magnum with DST. And all of them are fullstocks.
If interested, PM me.
