I'm looking for a Fulton Armory rear lugged m-14 receiver. Are they worth the price? and where can I find one. If anyone has one for sale PM me

Thanks!!

They are not availlable to Canada. I'd be shocked if there was even ONE in Canada.
However, all is not lost.
Google LRB arms and check out their hammer forged, u.s. Made , rear lugged receivers, your only option I'm afraid

Fulton will not deal with US canuks. LRB is pretty much your only option for a non-chinese, non-m1a receiver in canada. LRB will work with you to get it here, but you'll most likely need a third party importer. Questar and Dave's at the top both do this service. It's also a 6-8month wait right now for an LRB.

I cant find a price on the smith, it seems to be made of billet alum. The LRB is around 1200$ and forged. If anybody knows how much they are let me know. not that it matters that much.

Smith Ent receivers aren't in production right now. I believe there's some old one's kicking around the US but apparently they're working on manufacturing some barstock ones now. I don't believe they'll be for sale for a while.

The samples were from barstock, unfortunately I didn't get to ask about availability as they always seemed to have 4 or 5 people waiting to talk to them. You are probably right on them not being released anytime soon.

On a side note, the LRB bolts looked decent but are still also in the development stage and most likely won't be out anytime soon.

Here's a twist.... I spoke with Ron Smith today, of Smith Enterprise and he assures me that Smith Enterprise semi auto only receivers will be availlable in the future and we should be able to import them though a liscenced ffl dealer and approve exporter... Ie Questar or Dave's
Iasked him to put me on the waiting list hehehe
They are also prodcing their own oprods for future release as well :)

No, When they deactivate these they do a really good job of making sure it'll never fire again. Usually drill/pin the barrel or fill it with concrete, destroy most of the trigger group, strip the bolt etc. Small parts like the sights, bolt stop, and maybe the op rod would be serviceable, but definatly not worth spending the $1300 on a dewat just for a few parts.

Man!?!
I <3 M14 how many M14's do or have you owned!

Satain:
a few heh heh heh.

carlchevalier: Lrb makes rifles with usgi and aftermarket parts. Some may depend on what you want. right now, smith ent uses lrb receivers for thier builds, and some usgi and "crazy horse" aftermarket mil spec parts. From what I've read, it's very pricey to have sei build you a rifle.
