Most dewats would be poor choices for parts donors and not worth 1300 for that purpose.
If you found one for 300 to 500 and the sights, flash hider, gas system, oprod, stock, some small bits like bolt stop, springs ect and trigger group or parts...
Otherwise, I'd pass

anyways, i just ordered a m25 receiver from LRB. it might take a while so I'll have plenty of time to find all the other parts.

One more question, What ammo is the m-14 disigned to shoot? by that I mean load. Can it safely shoot commercial .308 stuff?

yes to both .308 and 7.62 is fine. I believe nothing over 174 grain for commericial stuff. NATO rounds are 147 grain if i remember correctly.
