Fun semi-auto .22 recommendations

Why are people saying the stock 10/22 is reliable?
Why would they have soooo many upgrade parts for it then?
Look on both this forum and rimfirecentral and see all the issues with them.
Once they get sorted out, at a cost they are great!

Thanks guys, ended up with a 795 off the EE. Worked out well for a local meet up. Was going to go with the 60 but I recently picked up tube feed henry .22 and so figured I'd try a mag fed semi auto instead. That gives me a .22 in every action except pump.
