Fun with Serial Numbers, the approved thread

I talked to Gary D last june when I tried to get my home built semi 1919 (with C5A1 marking) reg. Emailed photos of the side plate as he suggested the very same day. Since then no progress, I've still not been able to get it reg. The funny thing is, other than the markings, its exactly the same as the semi-1919 being imported and sold in Canada. :(
 
This thread inspired me to call Gary again. Like last time he was helpful. It sounds like I'm good to go. I may even have it reg this week. :). I feel like Christmas came early. :).
 
I have just passed the 3 year point on a couple of homebuilt AR15s, and getting closer to the 3 year point on my semi auto sten. Photos weren't enough on the sten....they had me send it in for evaluation back in June. Hoping Santa is nice to me and brings it back for Christmas.

wow, when i made my AR, it ended up being sent to Ottawa for pictures and such. after they played with it for a few weeks, they mailed it to me.

whole process took about 3 months.
