PELICAN 1170 "THE PERFECT PISTOL CASE"

*****this case is not meant to store pelicans or their byproducts; doing so may be harmful and/or illegal*****

This message is approved for distribution by a non-attorney spokesperson of the highest moral character and is not the opinion of LaRue Tactical or any of its employees.

cheers

BINGO, even the cases can't be shipped to a Canadian address, heck even the Xmas Dillos can't.

Do you KNOW the significance of what some random hinterland canuck could do with a non DSP-83 declared Xmas Dillo?

I mean, aside from the obvious act of opening a beer at Christmas of course...

Any specific reasons why larue wont export to canada? everything i hear about them on all the other boards has always been highly positive, so im surprised that they have a bad rap here...

You can buy Pelican cases from the US and get them shipped no problem. I have ordered them several times with no issues.

You gotta have a sense of humor, especially when you find out how much people pay for these damn cases!

the cases themselves are awesome...the joke is that larue wont deal with canada whatsoever...even if its just a simple plastic case.

i havent tried, but im doubting that they'd even ship bumper stickers up here just out of principle.

Magpul won't even ship non-ITAR products direct to Canada because they've encountered too much trouble at the border, despite everything being above board. The same goes for Mec-Gar.

*shrug*

Dissing of LaRue products on CGN is just a subconscious desire to own LaRue products coupled with the realization that getting LaRue products in Canada means either exporting them yourself, or paying a large premium.

"I want it, but I can't get it, so it must suck" mentality. Same reason why HK 416 or G36K sucks.

Personally I find LaRue dissage utterly hilarious. FabSport carries some of LaRue mounts, so not like they are unobtanium, as long as you have credit card in hand.

Not at all,I love his products but detest his marketing practices. I can get all the LaRue goodness I want..but not while in Canada,Afghanistan is awash in LaRue stuff if you know where to look and know the right folks.

Because somehow Canadian civilians present a clear and present danger to America...

It is just plain weird.
