Stupid why? Shot under controlled circumstances, no more dangerous than standing on or near a racetrack taking pictures of the cars as they go by.
I see your point,..but how many 12year olds drive Nascar.....

They're just jealous, Rob. Most of the naysayers can't shoot as good as the kid, so they criticize the video.just watched this on my PC, now can actually read the stuff on the bottom. they shot it under controlled circumstances (they actually state that).Big freakin deal. some of you guys really need to untie the manties and let the blood flow. it was done totally safely, no big deal.

Great shooting...........
Very fast for certain.
However he also certainly broke 90 at 2:52 that is of concern. That said it was not a "match" per se but in a promo video so the IPSC rules do not apply.
My son was never that fast at 12 but never came close to 90 ever. I guess it is a matter of perspective. I always wanted him to shoot safe first.......speed can follow.

I have viewed the video twice and I don't think he broke 90 as you suggest or is shooting so fast he is unsafe as you imply.
I totally agree with that. It's difficult to filter out all the distractions and see how much potential the lad really has. He'll need the direction and guidance of his parents and/or coachs to develop into a top-flight shooter, but the potential is there.Now...they could have edited out the parts that are of concern and we would have a real quality video showcasing what looks like a real up and commer instead of distractging everyone with the details.
And again a manned camera down range, so what? It was obviously a well thought out and planned production. Totally safe. Just because it bothers some of you doesn't make it unsafe.
minimized through proper planning and execution.
Ok expert.. tell me exactly what planning they did? what "precautions" they took? You seem to be the expert in their safety yet you where not there.. was the camera man wearing body armor??.. the fact is you don't know jack about the safety they took.
