Future Weapons: The Kriss .45 Calibre Sub-Machine Gun

Shot it, bought the T-Shirt.

It is different. Shooter pretty well and is pretty controlable in FA. BUT is very different in feel. Very uncomfortable IMHO, but then again I am used to AR's and "standard" grip style rifles.

and that was me in the red "support our troops" shirt in the stall beside you!! :D

I found the controls odd, but the gun puts a lot of lead in a small area very quickly. I should have tried the Grease gun at the same time to compare. The problem for the kriss is there is a limited market for PDW's in .45acp. It's not the sort of firearm you give a conscript either.

Thanks. I have been criticized by a couple of noobs who thought it was extreme, not realizing the source and that it is tongue and cheek. When I challenged them to disprove it as a Liberal commentary, they clam up. Cheers.

:(
I called after I seen them promoting this new rifle on the "American Outdoor Channel" They said since it was going the be 16" barrel that the Canadian market would be to small to even attempt to proceed with the paper work to sell us these rifles.

I wouldn't mind having a restricted one, but I doubt the USDOS would let it through the border (folding stock). I find they look silly with the longer barrel.

As long as it's Liberal with a capital 'L' there's no cause for complaint, IMO. Not all "liberals" are gun grabbers but the Liberal Party sure as hell is.

when they show the animation of the action cycling(2:56 to 3:12), would the spot where the pins on the bolt slide force the block down be very prone to wearing or breaking?

it just doesn't seem like it would stand up to to many rounds, but i may be mistaken.

anyone seen or heard of any lifespan numbers of the internals:confused:

I wouldn't mind having one too, but if I'm going to have a restricted one, I'm going to want a shorter barrel.

Very cool. Haven't seen this, thanks.

It looks like a big, ugly glock. Would be cooler if they could get the action moved further back and lengthen the bbl.
