For the love of God, somebody who knows " MG Jesus" please, please teach him how to properly configure the Trigger Guard Assembly for Winter Operations!! The metal Trigger Guard rotates inwards and is stowed in the hollow interior of the walnut Pistol Grip, with the flat portion of the Assembly screwed back down into place on the Front of the Grip. It ain't frigging Rocket Surgery!!!

I enjoy their video's but question how much of the stuff i don't already know is accurate when the stuff i do know has enough errors to drive me around the bend....

June 1953 is when Canada ordered the Ex series of rifles - the first series order received by Belgium. The British and USA orders were made in December 1953.
Canada waited for the "NATO" chamber drawing in January 1954, and was testing Ex1 & Ex2 rifles by March 1954...
"Small Arms Limited" ceased to function Dec 31, 1945....and the charter was surrendered around April 1946.
that's maybe what they told him about the serial number....but...
The first production C1 is 1955 dated I believe...full production was rolling in 1956.
Don't forget the firing pin bushing...
I'm pretty sure that New Zealand and Singapore are surprised to learn that they didn't adopt the L2A1...

His videos, I think, are mostly well done and I enjoy watching them. I am assuming he got most of the historical and production information regarding the C2, from the current owner. Probably could have done some further research, but all in all, given the time allotment, not a bad short video. Too bad they didn't show him firing it.
Brens were accurate.....we were told the C2 was a better machine gun because instead of providing accurate fire it provided a "cone" of fire....I think "cone" means a large group....lol....oh well thank god they never went head to head against a PKM
The C 2 reminds me of the US BAR , Browning Automatic Rifle , no quick barrel change , a bipod , it did have a 30 rd mag, compared to the BAR 20 rounds , I think the C2 was a little lighter , 15 pounds as compared to about 20 pounds for the BAR , the C2 was easy to field strip
you should heard what he said about the C1A1 grip. "bolt-in winter trigger lever".

His videos are obviously going to have errors. The amount of topics and firearms he covers CANNOT be 100% accurate at the volume he has to maintain. That being said they are overall very well done, and certainly better sources of information than 99.9% of the other videos people are putting out on firearms (Ian makes small errors, everyone else can’t even seem to get the basic story right).
