Do you guys store your powder cups on the platen or do you take it off when not in use. I guess my question is, will the extra weight sitting on there damage the balance?

Leave it on and scale is always on, I use a 50 grain calibration weight to test before weighing charges.

Tagged for interest. I always used to leave my cup on the scale for the old Chargemaster.
But after I upgraded to the 120-i, I seem to leave the cup off the scale (same rationale as mentioned in the OP)

I always leave the scale plugged into an uninterrupted power source on standby. always on standy

I don't leave anything on it. Mine is off most of the time, I only turn it on an hour or so before reloading as I only reload a few days a year.

I find myself leaving the cup off the plate at rest, because the autotrickler program will dispense again if I put the cup back on the plate. To avoid this I just don't put the cup on the plate, and it ends up left there when I finish up for the day.

I leave mine on all the time. Plugged into a conditioner and grounded. I don't recalibrate unless the unit has been turned off or shows signs of having moved from the known cup weight. Doesn't seem to matter leaving the cup on or off.

What conditioner do you use?
