FX-9 ETA Update?

Can the people who pre-ordered the FX-9 share what made them choose this specific firearm over similar firearms, like the JR carbine, TNW Aero, or even the new Ruger?
 
I put about 700 rounds through a 16" version. They're a very accurate and reliable little rifle. Put 7 or 8 different brands/types of ammo through it and had zero hiccups. At 50 meters I was able to get 3/4" groups with one +p ammo and about 1 1/2" to 3" on average. Couple that with ar ergos and furniture this is a winner.

I had the JR Carbine and sold it to buy the FX-9, the rifle was good, I just hated the procedure to clean it. I want the ease of cleaning like my AR-15, and the function like my AR and this is closest option for me

Played with one on a trip States side and it handled really nice. The only thing I can come up with as a con compared to others out there is it doesn't break down to fit in a briefcase or backpack.

Do you mean the upper doesn't separate from the lower?
