FX-9 Magazines

Hey folks,

Do you guys have suggestions for mags for the FX-9? I have one preordered. I've got a Gen 5 G17, and their ten round mags(not pinned, but made as ten rounders). I've read they don't lock back the bolt. Not a huge deal, but... I dug around and found an old thread starting the Magpul G17 mags work decent. Any suggestions from those who own one?

I have found that the pinned magpul ones work the best and are quite affordable compared to the Glock OEM.

Beauty, those were the ones I was leaning towards, and yeah they are pretty cheap. Does the bolt lock back with them?

I just ordered 5 Magpul 27 rounders and 5 KCI 33s for mine from Irunguns. Hopefully they both workout.

I'm partial to the ETS 17 rounders myself, haven't had any issues with them locking back on empty with the fx9.

I don’t know if Wolff springs is shipping to Canada again or not, but several years ago, I had really good results with the KCI mags, switching out KCI springs for the Wolff +10% springs. If concerned, you could also buy Glock (or other) followers (from Brownell’s or wherever) and replace those too. I have never had an issue with KCI mag bodies. They seem well enough made, and the rivet/pin is quite sturdy and very unlikely to become damaged, fall out, etc.
