Looking to get my first carbine, tactical rifle. I have my rpal but I like the idea of a non-restricted rifle. Should I get the fx-9 9mm carbine or the Wk-180c? What would the advantages and disadvantages of each be? I am open to other suggestions as well.

Either would be NR depending on barrel length. Difference in caliber. What do you want to shoot? 9mm is half the price of 223/556. Just saying.

Ideally I would love to have them both, will hopefully get a 9mm handgun in the future so maybe the fx-9 is a better option. Although I think the 556 might be more fun

Look at the tavor. Great fun if you have the money. Far more battle proven than a 180b. Still NR. Many upgrades available.

But its a $2.2k touch (plus tax) and a bullpup....

FX-9, not sure when it will arrive - $900, cheap to shoot 9mm. It's a 9mm so forget any long range accuracy - I'm speaking of 100m.... probably a really fun shooter 25-30m
WK180C - if you order now you will get it in 2019 - $1000. MADE IN CANADA. 223 with the proposed barrel, expecting 2MOA ?

I got in very early on the 180C so hopefully mine shows up next month.
Once FX-9's actually get here I'll probably buy one 'just because'.

I had the 180 on preorder then read they changed the design already and who knows what else might change in the future so I had them swap my deposit to the fx9 as I already have multiple 556 rifles but the 9 looks like fun and it's already built etc should be no changes in it's design

What were the changes?
