FX-9 owner anyone install the new Triggertech FX 9 Trigger

Use my FX9 for IPSC competition. The triggertech FX9 trigger is reliable and i have adjusted it to the lowest setting at ~3.5 lbs.
Installation was easy, had to take the safety off.
I have the straight/flat trigger
No issues after close to 1000 rounds of hard use.

Ok that’s all good to hear . Perhaps I just got a dud . Soft primer strikes right from the start. Will contact Triggertech to see what they have to say . I really like the way the trigger felt as far as pull and reset. A vast improvement over stock. Cheers guys thanks for the feedback .

Hard primer brands can cause the misfires. Brands like CCI being hard and Federal being soft. I don't believe he has seen many misfires but most of his ammo is loaded with Federal primers.

Ya I get that. This is not a primer issue though . Four different types of factory ammo , commercial reloads and personal hand loads all received light strikes. Switch back to stock trigger and all ammos fired … every time.

Forgot to mention that have not had issues with Federal, CCI, Winchester, S&B primers and factory CCI ammo, 124 and 147 Gr.
They all go bang..

FWIW I had sent an adaptable back to them a couple years after I purchased it and they covered it under warranty.

I installed the triggertech fx9 trigger in my fx9 and i had failure to fire.
I re installed the factory trigger and it worked perfect again.

I got the flat bow adjustable one. worked flawlessly and shot like a charm. only problem i got was light strikes but that has something to do with the BCG not the trigger

I've got the Triggertech FX-9 Adjustable in mine and I love it. It's a huge improvement over the gritty stock trigger group. I have it set somewhere in the low-middle in terms of pull weight and it's so crisp with very tiny take-up and such a short reset that I can hardly believe it. No issues with light primer strikes so far, and have run 115, 124 and 147 gr. of various factory (Speer, Blazer, Winchester white box, PMC Bronze) and reloaded types. It's one of the few components that instantly made this thing more fun. The fit is great, the install was easy and feels really solid with the additional pins driving down and pressing off the bottom of the receiver against the receiver anti-walk pins. No rattle, no wobble, and no motion besides pew pew pew!
