FX-9 vs the JR

I'm new to this PCC game sp I'm not up to speed. I know at the original price the FX-9 was a deal but now, at $1100 is it superior to the JR carbine? Which is better for what?

The FX-9 may look like it is more money but it comes with "upgrades", the stock/handguard are much better.
By the time you put a decent handguard/rail and a good stock the JRC is as much more money if not more than the FX-9.
If you can buy both.

I agree with sheep100! the only reason why the JR would surpass the FX9 is IF some FX9 models continue to have reliability issues.... OR if there somehow blunderbuss inaccurate. The reason being is I can assure you the JR's are utterly reliable and amazingly accurate. But so could the FX9 ! time will tell.

JR carbine receivers are designed to offer caliber interchangeability, as are Thureon Defense carbines.
