Anyone here ever use their A&D FX120 on a battery instead of house power. Our power fluctuates a bit and isnt as stable as i would like. So I was thinking about powering from a battery or a battery and invertor if necessary .

So whats your setup?

Thanks

I don't but I have heard people using UPS System when they had electrical/dirty power issues.

Check Costco and Amazon.ca.

You can't beat Costco return policy. If you are not happy with it or if it doesn't fix your issue - 90days.

most costumer UPS only switch to battery when you loose power.

live ups cost 500$+

Mine was a 200$ one
Runs live on AC (does not use the DC backup)

1. My FX120 is always plugged with standby light lit, this will protect it better in power surges

2. It’s programmable with options to clean electrical current for sensitive equipment.

Can’t say how much of a difference it made for fx120 never tried without
On ex-rcbs charmaster, would definitely help stabilize scale

Edit: can check once i got time.
The logic when buying it was : a high quality one within the small battery models.
Would have a hard time running a full desktop pc and monitor, but could fuel an energy saving laptop
