Call me silly, but a short and light bolt action 9mm rifle that took glock mags (or affordable proprietary mags with no limit) would be tons of fun at the range. Bolt gun should be reasonable for a Canadian company to make without too many hiccups either

That, and a modern replica of the Timberwolf pump. But for some reason, nobody wants to bother.
