All,
I know in my areas of preference this year the supplemetals have changed. ( limitations to use ) This drastically screwed up my hunting season,....oh well more bow hunting for me.

NOTE - that in particular for 64A and 64B, and 63B, that the supplementals are for BOW ONLY. They are not valid for rifle or shotgun seasons. The last several years they were vaild for any open season.

Also original and supplemental tag availibilities are reduced this year due to no# of deer population ( # deer taken last year, harsh winter here, etc...management reasons, as I was told )
( P.S. - 64A, 64B abd 63B are already sold out )

This may apply in other WMU's as well, I am not certain for other areas, but I know when I called for my supplemental, the recording was quite clear, BOW ONLY. Make sure you check your supplementals and listen to the recording.

It is posted in the supplemental info on the web as well.

Just an FYI for you all...

65 is the same....bow only, or the muzzleloader week in Dec. And only an additional 600 tags !!!! Give me a break, there was no big winter kill here. There is still a huge crop-loss problem, and the MNR is not trying to help the situation by only allowing 600 more tags...65 is bigger than some States...There used to be county specific tags what happened to them? I used to get 3 tags for 65 (1 reg+2 extra for South Glengarry) At least it allowed me to hunt all fall even if I shot a deer in early archery. I heard that the 600 tags sold in 12 hours on their stupid phone system. Come on MNR give us deer hunters a chance!!
