Fyi- rifle case lube

I suspect lanolin will leave a thin flim on the cases. Probably nothing to worry about though. Oil on the cases will dent them.
"...a quick, cheap and easy to apply lube..." Ain't nothing as quick, easy or cheap than RCBS lube on a pad.

I like the RCBS (or similar) lube pads. STP oil treatment is a lot cheaper than the RCBS lube or any other similar brand. For lubing cases necks I use powdered graphite applied with a Q-tip. The best place to get the powdered graphite is you local John Deere dealer. You get a quart sized bottle (lifetime supply) for $5-6. They use it for lubing corn seeders. No residue is left so you get consistant neck tension on the bullets.

I just got some fine powdered graphite at CTC and use the Q-tip method, will see how it works.

I use Lee lube in the tube. No mess, works wet or dry. I use my fingers. I used the messy stuff you squeezed on a pad until I knew better. I've never had any trouble with stuck cases, or anything else related to lube since I've used the Lee stuff. A big plus is that I can wipe the lube on my pants!
