Hi Canam, are you guys planning to import some German made Magpul PMAG copies?
They are in the testing stages, and it would be great to get these into the country due to the hurdles of ITAR.

And are there any plans to import magazines form other sources in the future? IWI, Norinco...
 
I have spoken at length with Oberland on the subject. We have similar plans to theirs. We have many plans on the mag front.
 
The market collapsed? Are new AR's not selling in Canada anymore? So what was there before, plus the new ones being sold on a daily basis (I would think). Perhaps the market collapsed on expensive AR mags (but another firm just brought in a heavy duty one that is pricey but will likely sell) now with the dollar at parity. Not from a business/legal perspective, just what people "see", if you can buy a 30 round mag in the US for $16.00, then people kind of expect to see that here or close to it, but of course ruined to 5 rounds. We all allow that little line in the sand to amount to so much, it really is the consumers fault for putting up with it.
 
The main market is the US, not Canada. We would never tool up a project like this just for the tiny Canadian market
 
Are the LAR-15 mags just for the Canadian Market or are there some American States with the similar abomination to magazines law.
 
A full bodied 10 round pistol mag for ARs ala the Sig 55X copies you had made would go like hot cakes...maybe?
