G&P products red dots and magnifiers

ok so im looking for a red dot and a magnifier for my .22

i dont want to spend a whopping amount on an aimpoint or eotech.. since its only a .22

ive come across G&P lazer products CompM2 replica sight and 3X magnifier ( like the eotech unit )

im curious if anyone has any experience with these ? and can you please comment on them.

and yes i know.. chicom crud but its only for a .22 as long as the windage and elevation actually works then ill be happy

They are fine for a .22. I know some guys who've used them on a larger calibre guns varying from .223 to .308 with no ill effects and they held zero.

But, sometimes the quality control is not the best. You may get a great unit or it could have problems. You never really know until it's on your gun. Some of the clones don't grab mil-spec rails well either. But when you are looking at 1/5 the cost, it may be a risk worth taking.

I took it to the range once and after firing about 10rds, I took it off. I could hardly pick out the target at 25 yards.
