G10 Grips for P226?

I've been searching all over for some solid black Hogue G10 grips to replace the OEM on my older P226.

It seems like the only ones to be found are in the US and stock at dealers who don't ship north of the line.

Are these things really that hard to find or am I missing something?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can buy direct from Hogue. Shipping ain't cheap though, about $30. so if you can get someone to tag along with your purchase, might make it worthwhile.

You can also look at VZ Grips. Otherwise you gotta pay $$$ shipping from Hogue, and on top of that our exchange rate is in the tank right now.

For what it's worth, I'm selling a used-one-time set of G10 Piranha grips (in green). I too, couldn't find them north of the border so I bit the bullet and bought a set for my p226. Still have receipt and everything. Literally bought last month. Btw, they are great...just selling my p226 now.

I've got two sets ordered from Mdcharlton(Mississauga, Ontario). Was told 30 to 40 days, gotta be 50 by now. Hope they're here soon. BTW I ordered G10 piranhas in black(No grey circles) for a couple Sigs.

I have ordered directly from Hogue several times with good results. They ship quickly and the one time they were out of stock on a set I wanted they contacted me as soon as they were in stock.

I required modified grips to fit my X5 All-round and Hogue website has that option.
Shipping wasn't that bad, costed me 150$ all in
