VERY SLICK, just ordered a set in Green for my NP-34(P228 copy).. Never felt them before so I'm really excited to see what they are like. Whats the texture like? I'm kind of envisioning and ultra-starched linen feel for some reason. How would you describe it?

So excited! WEEEE

Very nice mrsmitty, those the pirana ones?

Really like the g10's. Goul, they feel like composite, grip is excellent without the checkered biting into your hands.

I prefer the originals, but congrats. IMO they look good with certain color-schemes, just not all stainless.

Maybe Arma-coat the lower black...

;)

I'm the exact opposite, I think those new grips look better. It's like it's a different pistol all together in my eyes.

Good choice!

The grips are really grippy with the piranha texture. But not so much that its iritating. I really like it. The slim contour of the grips fit my hand alot better than the wood grips. Still haven't made up my mind if I should sell the wood grips.

I got the checkered black G10's for my 226. Slightly thinner than stock, especially the hump over the decocker spring. Great grip surface. Direct from Hogue. Over $100, no tax, no duty and break even on the exchange rate..
