G10 VZ Grips need Ambi Cut, any suggestions?

Hi,

I have a pair of G10 VZ Grips ordered from the states. I like them but need an ambi safety notch cut.

I have thought about using a dremel or something but I don't want to screw them up. I have also thought about sending them all the way back to VZ but they were bought through Brownells and I am not sure how much that would cost and if there would be any problem shipping pistol grips.

Any suggestions?

There wouldnt be any problem shipping the grips back but the cost wouldnt be worth it. You could probably buy another set of grips for the money you would waste shipping them there and back. Another thing to note is that if you do decide to modify them yourself G10 is very harmful to inhale, so make sure you wear a mask and do the modification in a well ventilated area.
 
Okay, thanks, yeah I heard it was dangerous to inhale. Good point about the cost of shipping.
