G17 Gen 2.. value for low round count collectors?

Just grabbed one of these off the exchange with very low round count, estimated around 1000. I haven't received it from the seller yet but he seems to have it together. Any gurus out there think I could squeeze $700 out of it for the die hard gen 2 lovers? I was deleriously tired when I made the deal, and only because I can't stand the finger grooves in the later gen models... then realized.. I'm not actually a glock guy at all and just wanted to have it to play with for a few weeks. So hoping I can move it quickly.. there's a killer shorty 12 guage i've got my eye on...
Maybe it was just because it was a g19, but I sold one of those gen 2 in the fall with 6000 rounds through it for $750. Hope I'm not out of my range to move the 17

hows the finish? $700 is high but G17 will sell for more than G22. dollar is pretty low so Glocks go for more than they did a year ago, so if you want to sell it it would probably be the time. depending on the finish I'd say 475- 550 for typical condition. $600 if mint, if more than 2 mags than couple be more
 
You might be onto something if it was a Gen1, but not too many "die hard Gen 2 lovers". And this coming from a guy who runs a Gen 2 Glock 17 (which, incidentally, is a great pistol)...

$5-600 is probably your most likely scenario...
