G17 gen 5 first impressions

WTF do I know, lol. Currently awaiting my RPAL but I did decide the G17 gen 5 is for me. So I've left a deposit on it and am trying to wait patiently...
Had the shop put in one of the Maple Leaf slide back plates thingy the other day. It has the plastic sights as well so I'll probably change them out.

Everyone seems to have lots of positive things to say about it, so I'm pretty happy with my decision. But I doubt I'll get a chance to shoot it before Novemeber. App went off on Thursday.

The new G17 gen5 is the next evolution of a truly great design.
The G17 frame with the 19 top end is a good seller, but I'm thinking our market would appreciate a G19 frame with a G17 top end. It could happen.

Since Ontario & Kanada are gun-free zones, lawful Canadian gun owners will never see CCW. But if we did, my CCW would be a G17 or a S&W M&P......
